About SEALCOIN
Making machines trusted and transactional
A peer-to-peer trust and transaction infrastructure for real-time machine-to-machine exchanges, built by the WISeKey Group from the chip up.
Introduction
Trust infrastructure, not another IoT platform
SEALCOIN is a decentralised platform that lets devices and AI agents transact, exchange data and offer services autonomously. It anchors every machine identity in secure hardware, protects it with post-quantum cryptography and records every exchange on Hedera, so machines can deal with each other without human intermediaries.
Mission
Turn every connected device into a trusted economic actor
Our mission is to give the next generation of IoT devices and AI agents what they need to negotiate, execute and settle service-for-payment exchanges on their own: a verifiable identity, a secure channel, a wallet and a market. QAIT, the ecosystem’s utility token, powers that market.
Leading the machine-to-machine revolution
Built by the WISeKey Group, from silicon to settlement
SEALCOIN is a subsidiary of WISeKey International Holding AG. It draws on more than two decades of group expertise in secure semiconductor chips, embedded firmware and trusted hardware provisioning.
SEALSQ provides the post-quantum secure hardware, WISeKey the PKI and identity services, and WISeSat the satellite infrastructure. In partnership with The Hashgraph Group AG, the platform runs on Hedera distributed ledger technology.
- Swiss-based with global reach
- 25+ years of semiconductor and PKI expertise across the group
- Hedera distributed ledger integration
- Progressive decentralisation roadmap, governed through Proof-of-Security
Vision
A machine economy where every interaction is authenticated, autonomous and secure
We see devices and agents trading energy, data, compute and connectivity with each other in real time, through smart contracts and decentralised marketplaces, with trust that holds up in a post-quantum world.

What SEALCOIN guarantees
Three pillars every transaction stands on
PQC Secure Identity
Every device and agent gets a unique identity anchored in a secure element and protected with post-quantum cryptography. It cannot be cloned, and it is built to stay trustworthy as quantum computing matures.
Trusted Coordination
Machines authenticate each other, discover services and negotiate over encrypted channels. Broker nodes connect devices behind firewalls without ever becoming a trusted intermediary.
Autonomous Transactions
Service-for-payment exchanges are executed and settled automatically in QAIT on Hedera, designed to scale to millions of interconnected devices.
Governance
Who builds and who governs
Infrastructure and economics are deliberately separated, in line with SEALCOIN’s progressive decentralisation roadmap and its Proof-of-Security (PoSy) governance model.
Infrastructure
SEALCOIN AG
Develops and operates the trust infrastructure: secure onboarding, identity, broker nodes, transaction engine.
Economic layer
QAIT Association
Governs QAIT, the utility and settlement token of the ecosystem.
